ABOUT ME:
These days, I shoot mostly with a Nikon D200. I love nature and the beauty found in it. Taking pictures and sticking them in my computer and on my walls, is like bringing a piece of "home", back to my house. Many shots are of the shore of Long Island, NY, my home, and of other travels. Other subject matter of interest include people, culture, action, music, sports. My goal is to capture a "vibe" - to say something with an image. Good images are like tidal pools - reflections of time - revealed for a moment. When you really take a good look between all the rushing undertow and riptides of life, there is mystery and wonder reflected back at you. I use this blog to help me improve my photographic skills and to sell my work. I greatly appreciate both positive and negative, but constructive comments. PURCHASING: For images featured on this site: To order prints, you can simply email me and pay through Paypal (credit cards accepted). Shipping is free for US customers. Customers outside of the US, please contact me before ordering. A 13 x 19" print is typically $50. Each print is digitally optimized from the master digital file to suit the print size, therefore, prints may not exactly match the web images. Prints are vastly superior to the web images. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within a week for a full refund. (You simply pay return shipping cost). All prints are printed on Epson Premium Glossy or Premium Luster photo paper, (for larger prints), with pigment-based ink, rated to last longer than you! I print on an Epson R2400. For prints larger than 13x19 inches, I use an outside lab. Larger prints are shipped in a tube for protection. Prints are unmatted. (other formats available). Photos are printed with the crop shown.
